As Director SEA & Operations, you take on a central leadership role at the intersection of strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable customer success. You hold full responsibility for the SEA division (technical, organizational, and strategic) and actively shape the ongoing development of our company.

You not only lead a team, but also build scalable structures, create clarity, and provide direction. In doing so, you ensure that ideas turn into measurable, sustainable success for our partner agencies and for SOWESPOKE AG. YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
SEA & OPERATIONS:

SEA Team & Customer Success

• You will lead an SEA team of currently six people with enthusiasm and conviction, both professionally and disciplinarily, provide constructive feedback, support the development of team members and continue to expand the team.
• You design efficient, scalable structures in customer and account management while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Stakeholder management as well as close, trust-based customer relationships are critical to your success.
• You are experienced in dealing with clients and convince them in meetings with strategic foresight, performance marketing expertise, and tangible results.
• You have a creative and innovative personality with a strong sense for digital marketing trends and new technologies.
• You work closely with the Product Leads from Search, Data & Tech, thereby shaping the marketing of the future.
• You identify cross- and upselling opportunities and successfully embed them.
• You will support the acquisition of new partner agencies and accompany the onboarding process.

Operations & Corporate Development

• You contribute a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
• You identify growth opportunities and, together with our executive board and team, develop solutions to actively advance the company.
• Together with the executive board, you shape the strategic corporate roadmap and ensure its consistent implementation.
• You are a sparring partner at eye level and take on genuine co-responsibility.

What you bring to the table:

• Several years of senior-level experience in the SEA environment (Microsoft Ads & Google Ads).
• Strong expertise in performance marketing and data-driven digital strategies.
• Extensive experience in managing and growing teams.
• Ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and executives confidently and on equal terms.
• Excellent financial acumen and a proven ability to manage budgets responsibly while ensuring sustainable cost-to-revenue ratios.
• Strong strategic capabilities paired with hands-on operational execution.
• Strong proficiency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Structured and independent working style with a strong focus on impact and measurable results.
• Proactive and trustworthy collaboration with the team, paired with a strong leadership presence.

Your Responsibilities:

For our PPC/Support Microsoft Ads team, we are looking for a dedicated Performance Marketing Manager with solid experience in Microsoft Ads (Bing), starting immediately. You are experienced in dealing with customers and convince them in meetings with meaningful reports and campaign results. You are the main point of contact for our partner agencies when it comes to everyday questions and challenges. With your expertise, you support them in acquiring new clients, adopting new features, and optimizing accounts.
